    Laudable. I just hope the officials in Ghana will help them develop into world class athletes. Most of those in charge of sports in Ghana are selfish and thieves.

    All the colleges mentioned in the article are not athletic powerhouses in the USA and therefore probably do not have athletic coaches that can develop ...

    I don't know these colleges but the issue is this. If all the athletes are currently in Ghana and training in ghana then a move to a facility in the US may be beneficial from the sporting angle. I say may because it really de ...

    Could be an entry point.
    Just getting their feet in the door.

    Can transfer after a year or two and see if they can eke anything out of Tokyo.

    KNUST or Legon does not even have athletic facilities. Go and look at the stadium if you can even call it as a stadium at these Universities. Junior high schools here in Texas even have better stadiums than KNUST and Legon. T ...

    It's the same thing they said when John Ampomah, Dorren Agyei and Atsu Nyamadu left for Neosho County College. Today John has graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, a D1 school. More to come.
