  The very least the BBC could have done to give a modicum of credibility and respect to their curious views in the above write up, was to have at the very least, legitimized their article with a personal name instead of the now infamous epithet, the BBC.
  
  This lapse will now merely add another one of the many reasons why many more Africans will not sympathize with the unpopular Talon govt in Benin. Perhaps the BBC should also try another article to eulogize Nana Akuffo Addo, the dreaded former President of Ghana, who tactfully succeeded in replacing "democracy" in Ghana with "Kleptocracy" without firing a shot.
  
  For Christ's sake, it has gotten so bad that now even their blood Brothers and former team players, the CNN, the Washington Post, the New York Times and many other Western media institutions across the big pond in the Americas, have also found reason to soundly run the BBC down in the past few weeks. They have in addition, therefore distanced themselves from the BBC for grossly misreporting, manipulating words and facts for ulterior reasons, showing creative ability in fictional reporting and generally undermining the dignity of the media. As a result, the top dog of the BBC admitted guilt, ate humble pie, put his tail between his legs and meekly crawled away into disgraced resignation.
  
  One would have thought that this would be the end of the story - but no. Of course, Africa is fertile ground for foreign media mediocrity to ply their trade in the hope that they can continue to impose their forlorn colonial fantasies on the vulnerable people of the "dark" hapless continent which they often refer to as a "country" where poverty, hunger and starvation, disease, civil wars, coups d'etat and unhinged dictators run rife.
