  As a Ghanaian, I feel really sad at recent happenings in Nigeria. Nigeria is our big brother. Watching from afar, there seems not to be any urgency and seriousness in the security of the citizens. How do these bandits get their monies, weapons, food, communications. There are reports of government officials meeting these criminals in the name of peace deals. Really!! Peace deals in their capacity as what?. They openly display weapons in towns, and cities Eiii. Where are security personnels. Nigeria is really gone. Why does the government have interest in the activities of these criminals? Because government can prioritise security and focus enough resources to the Security to stop this nonsense within 6 months. See how everyday lots of people are slaughtered, killed, abducted, properties damaged and everybody is watching. Ohh. Sad.

  During the return to democratic rule in 1992.It took president Kuffour's tenure to take the bull by the horn to organise aTruth and Reconclliaton Commission to delve into human rights excessess, atrocities, extra judicial killings, abductions etc. Following this Liberia did same after their civil war. Nigeria is taking too long, to admit the truth of the aftermath of the untold story of the 1967 civil war and to forgive one another and forge a lasting Go on with One Nigeria. The results of playing the ostrich is what is manifesting now with the north and south west ruling the country since independence with the exclusion of the south east Igbo block. With so much terror, blood shed, endermic mistrust, enmity, religious hatred.Stealing of oil money.God bless Nigeria
