They apparently haven't learned from their experiences in Vietnam and Afghanistan to not meddle in other countries' affairs without a good reason. America may be the most powerful nation in the globe, but it's failing to learn from the very thing that caused another much powerful nation, Rome, to lose its power: the Roman empire was all over Europe, parts of Asia and North Africa, flexing its military might and not thinking about tomorrow. Tomorrow arrived unannounced, causing the Roman empire to lose its power and influence, and that once mighty Rome is today reduced to a mere tourist attraction without the military might that it once wielded for centuries. When nations and people fail to pay heed to history, history usually has a good way of sneaking up on them with a surprise. Better for the USA to use its mighty power to uplift others around the globe instead of constantly working to disrupt other countries. Many around the globe have a tremendous appreciation and respect for the USA, but people like Trump and his misguided sycophants are doing all they can to not only cause pain on their own American citizens but also disrupt and undermine America's system of government which works very well.
