We continue to deceive ourselves that we have an agency known as the African Union, a collection of vision-less and thieving African political leaders headquartered in Addis Ababa, doing nothing for Africa other living the good life at the expense of African tax payers. There's no reason why the AU should be sitting quietly and watching the genocide that is unfolding in Sudan. After the killings eventually come to an end, these useless AU bureaucrats will then have meaningless meetings and then issue worthless statements. Things will only get worse across the continent because Africa lacks visionary leaders who can work to prevent the wanton destruction of lives and property that has become a common occurrence.
