Every great achievement has the elements of time, opportunity, presence, and action. Unless you want to go down in history as a perennial presidential candidate, I suggest you hold your horses and think about it. Which of the four elements stated above do you have? I cannot see any of them that you can control. So please, Allan, don't waste your time on something that has no chance to bear fruit. There are more than a million things you can do to improve your reputation. Think and apply the remainder of your life to those rather. If you think being the president is still your lifelong goal, then join a party.

Aseidu Nketia must be open-minded, and use his intellectual prowess to recruit Alan to the NDC, and to help elevate him to be a flagbearer post-Mahama. This would help extend NPP’s time in opposition. Alan’s highly dedicated followers, of which many are disaffected NPP supporters would follow him to the NDC, cementing the party as truly Ghana’s party. Alan’s blueprint of governance ideas, which is industrialization heavy to create millions of jobs, is what Ghana needs long term to be highly successful, and it is similar to Traore’s core plans. This may sound outrageous on the surface, but it undoubtedly puts Ghana first.

Alan lacks political intelligence. He may be smart in many areas, but for politics he has no winning character. If he had political intelligence, he wouldn't have resigned from NPP totally. Knowing how Akufo Addo was behaving in his talks and abandonment of his base, he should have known that Bawumia was going to lose the elections as the flagbearer. Instead of quitting the NPP as he did, he should have stepped aside to wait out for his opportunity to run again which could have been now for him. Instead, he damaged his political career by the path he took. He destroyed his reputation totally by the kind of campaign he waged against the NPP knowing very well NDC supporters will never vote for you

Mr. Kyerematen, didn't you know that President Agyekum Kuffour had only one vote? How could he have persuaded the followers of other presidential candidates to vote for you? This is common sense, so STOP this reasoning.
