  A silly excuse to justify dependency. Nigeria with its abundant natural resources ought to have no problem ensuring that its don't starve. Weed out the corruption and there will be enough means to care for the citizens of Nigeria. Nigeria, like other African countries with similar issues regarding hunger and having to deal with Boko Haram or other religious bandits, have to weed out corruption and also rethink how they blindly follow some religious practices that make their citizens easy prey for religious terrorists. Aid from overseas is sometimes necessary, but should never been as a tool to aid any government in its fight against armed religious extremists.

  Can`t Nigerians feed themselves? The so-called food aid must dry and end immediately to all African nations.
  We must perish or die if we cannot feed ourselves in this day and age considering the best of lands we are blessed with by God.
