Rather, he will resort to repressive tactics because resignation is nowhere in our leadership vocabularies.

ECOWAS is currently filled with a gang of some selfish and sadistic leaders, whose main objective of being a member of ECOWAS is to use it as a cover to repress oppositions, consolidate power and to stay in office permanently.
ECOWAS and AU are a bunch of toothless organizations that do not deserve peoples sympathy and respect. They have failed the Continent and its people totally.
It is about time that the two Organizations be scrapped and rebuilt with fresh and objectives oriented minds.

My heartfelt sympathy go to the people of Togo and condolences to the families who lost their loved ones for their untimely death. It is sad and unfortunate that Togo has been under the throes of a narcissistic leader and a sadistic regime. That, I think, our Heavenly Father will not accept/tolerate/encourage nor allow it to continue unabated. There is time for everything, and it is my hope and belief that the perpetrator will receive a fitting punishment here on Earth in their life time.
May the Lord bring down the intolerable regime of Gnassingbe.
