  How can a president and his people undertake a major constitutional change without the involvement of the people. The parliament of Togo is more like one party. The youths must take their destiny into their own hands because the opposition in Togo is so weak and will even betray the course these youths are persuing.

  Typical of Africans who emerge as leaders in various capacities, the Togolese President will not resign. Whether he is popular among his people or not, the African leader will never step down and aside for peace to reign in the country.
  Rather, he will resort to repressive tactics because resignation is nowhere in our leadership vocabularies.
