The other day I was having a conversation with a guy who said he wanted nothing to do with God and Christianity because his mother was such a sweet woman but died a terrible death. As he kept expressing his bitterness, I started thinking about all those who have lost dear ones and are still following Christ. From bible times to now.

I was at the emergency section of a hospital the other day and couldn't bear the shouts and groans of some of the patients. I politely asked a nurse if those didn't need urgent attention. She looked at me, smiled and told me that it's the quiet ones who need attention. She said they can die any moment. For those shouting, it's because they have the energy that's why they are shouting and their cases are small. Don't mind them.

Talk to some people who are still following Jesus and you would be shocked by what they have been through.
