But you are importing 24million barrels of US crude to refine whilst Nigeria is the largest crude oil producer in Africa. What's the economic Sense?. Your country has abundance of the raw materials you need for your factory but you are importing the raw materials from another country in another currency and selling your raw materials to other countries. Is senseless and better not built. Because the Nigerian government would have to borrow or earn dollars for Dangote to import the crude oil from US, depreciating your currency and causing more poverty. Factories should provide economic independence.
