  Shell after creating an environmental mess should take the money and run under the pretext of selling its subsidiaries to the Nigerian govt. An African govt, none of which are ever known to be responsive to their local communities, is then left to clean up the environment. What is wrong with Shell cleaning up their mess before selling? A slouch fund in the sale will only end up in the pockets of some thievery politicians!
