Kotoko leave for Tusker Cup

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are expected to leave the country today for Nairobi, Kenya to participate in the upcoming Tusker Cup tournament.

Kotoko will be led by ex-defender and current under-20 coach, Kalilu Dramani to the four club tournament which includes, Kenya?s Tusker FC, Supersport from South Africa and Tanzania?s Simbas.

The inaugural edition of the competition kicks off on Wednesday July 27 and ends on Saturday July 30.

The Porcupine Warriors contingent to the competition includes midfielder Edmund Owusu Ansah, defender Dan Acquah and striker Mbola Sanjie.

The winner of the competition is expected to receive 25,000 dollars while the runner-up takes 12,000 dollars.
