Why did Appiah not call Alfred Duncan who is playing well in Serie A?

Good article. Ghana has a lot of players, Alfred Duncan , Andre Ayew etc. Latif Blessing who should have received a call up for the Kenya match perhaps instead of Waris is likely to join the USA. Defender Samuel Sarfo playing

Appiah is a mixed bag of confusion
Asamoah Gyan was wasting all the scoring chances but the coaches kept on giving him chance to play. If a young striker fails to shine in one match why is he not given another chance but Appiah dumps him and brings on Asamoah

Gyan probably bribed akwasi appiah, otherwise, it doesn't make sense to recall him. What exactly can oldman Gyan do to help the team right now? We need young players, not tired legs.

Clueless?
It is obvious that Appiah's "bunch in, bunch out" is not working. The success of the Black Stars of past, was partially due to the familiarity with one another, despite their individual achievements at their various clubs. Su

Re: Clueless?
Teams like that might score 10 goals against Ethiopia, but what is the quality of soccer in Ethiopia? There is a reason why a soccer game between Spain and Macedonia will not end well.

Even if he is building the team, is this the right time? We build teams to enter competitions and not enter competitions to build a team. Hopeless coach.

Gyan is a facilitator
Gyan has not shown for his club. This is true. But Gyan bring something to an attack. Gyan's attacking presence, his movement allows his teammates opportunities to score. Gyan is similar in this respect to someone like Giroud

RASHEED 007, THE BLACK BOND
Emperor, a player like Ryan Gigs hardly disappoints and Gyan is kind of similar when it comes to B/Stars. However, he's not in good shape and needs to be axed from the team but the coach thinks he's still got some mojo moves

Bottom line..
He has been forced to bring old names who can come off the bench just in things are shaky. If the team is not winning at the half he will make some wholesale changes and bring in Gyan and others.
