Most successful albeit short career Probably the most successful . That itself can be argued since Sammy Kufuor is there. Essien had a relatively short career though . That is a factor

My best player in ghana soccer I will not compare essien to any player but he is my best player in ghana,my reason was he is the only Ghanaian player who played bigger teams abroad,like Chelsea, ac Milan and real madrid
