Cameroon was punished 6 points in 2002 for wearing sleeve-less shirts at the 2002 Afcon, though those points were restored after some tough hearings.

Why is Ghana always creating unforced stupidity: sending the HEARING to a DEAF competition, flying cash to tournaments, sneaking an over-aged to an U-17 tournament, refusing to pay coaches, other technicians and players after they've done their job?

Ghana was the first to win Afcon 3 times.

Why are we in the dump now?

Because people making decisions (from janitors through captains and chairmen to Presidents) only think about their pecuniary or emotional highs, not what impact those decisions may have on us all as a nation.

Gyan's act was premeditated.
That was his way of saying he did not want to hand over to Dede.

We may pay dearly for that when FIFA and CAF return.

Actually upon reading the stories carried out by this website I don't think enough research was done and this has thus lead many Ghanaians to judge wrongly. I think its time Ghanaian journalists started doing thorough research before writing anything. Yes, the armband was customized but it was not for personal reasons. This is not the first time something of that sort is happening and I don't think FIFA will sanction him. During our qualifying matches for a,major tournament some years back when at that point yoghurt sponsored the black stars the armband was customized with yoghurt's colors because the captain of that particular match Michael Essien was playing a landmark game. Gyan's armband was customized to celebrate his 100th match as a black stars player( though he has already clocked 100 its his first match on home soil since that achievement) and also in anticipation of his 50th goal for the black stars. This was done by PUMA not Gyan himself as being reported. Ayew was aware of it before the match that is why when Gyan was substituted he did not go for the one celebrating Gyan but went for the official black stars armband.
