The University should set up a Development Fund and invite the alumni and wellwishers to contribute financially towards the completion of the stadium.Fundraising events in Ghana and in cities like London,Paris.Washington, etc, etc can also be held to raise funds to complete the project.Targeted appeal for funds to selected philantrophists can also help raise funds for the project. There is no need for the University to wait for the government to fund the completion of the stadium.

I agree entirely with Kwabena Ohemeng's suggestion of fund raising from members of Legon alumni, some of whom are even very well paid ministers, government officials and international civil servants, not to mention many professionals living abroad. The government does not always need to commit scarce public funds for such projects.

NPP Government should complete the stadium for the University. It is shameful after all the years NDC Government failed to complete. We need to jail all the corrupt officials in the Country.

You are in a country that has limited resources. If you are asked to choose between the Circle Inter change and completing of a stadium at a university campus, which of them would you choose and why?

Methinks, the government don't have to be giving funds anyhow to the universities for them to survive. In the advanced countries, the schools appeal to individuals, past alumni and the rich people to help but what do we see in Africa or mother Ghana per second, some of the rich people use their monies buying houses and expensive cars for their girlfriends and also buying many private cars which doesn't make sense. In Canada, some yrs.back one rich guy n his family donated $50million to the University of Toronto.Other people also help out.We can't move forward if we always expect the government to provide everything. My advice, the universities should find a way a forgetting donations from past students, from the churches n other benevolent societies.Plus they should also manage their tuitions they collect properly.
The University should set up a Development Fund and invite the alumni and wellwishers to contribute financially towards the completion of the stadium.Fundraising events in Ghana and in cities like London,Paris.Washington, etc, ...
