Whether you like it or not Ashanti is ahead I'm not from the Ashanti region but most Akans are Ashantis. Let me tell you,they love African history and most Ghanaian history centers on Ashanti,they have the most if Ghana's history and culture and it will interest you to know I picked a black history book from a book store and was surprised to see all the Kings in Africa with the Ashanti King and Queen mother Osei Tutu and Yaa Asantewaa included, they said a lot about the Ashanti Kingdom which we might even not know. The book talked about the Hausa overlord and Queen Amina, it talked about the Egyptians and the Ethiopians,Senegal,Mali,Songhai empires and African kingdoms so what are you talking about. This is why they are Unique and you hate them for nothing. He us going to Kumasi to meet the King and take pictures to show to his people the African Americans that he's been to meet the ancient King of the Ashanti Kingdom. This is something nobody can wipe away,Rawlings and his Sogakope mafia tried they couldn't and nobody can wipe that away you can hate them but it won't make any difference. Kumasi was built by the indigenes not any government, the white man destroyed it when they first colonized this nation but it was built in 40 days and has retained the status of the 2nd largest city from time immemorial because Accra was declared the capital because that was where the colonial masters settled when they were sacked from Cape Coast . learn Ghana history and stop the hate, white people are blessed because they don't hate and don't envy so have clear minds to invent things everyday.
