We are talking about someone with that affable persona. Who attained a higher playing level and has managed players as a captain. Playing for Juventus is no mean feat. Captaining BS is no joke as well. His age is about the right as as well. The only players ahead of SA for this position would be Abedi Pele and Marcel D who both may not be interested. Not even Osie Kuffour comes ahead of SA for this role because no one knows his player management skills. We need to support him because he has the desire to work.

On what criteria was Stephen appointed a team manager? He is a good motivator, but this position should have been given to a coach who has managerial and technical skills. If you want to succeed, you start properly. But if you start by making silly mistakes, you are doomed to fail. Stephen Appiah has no managerial skills, never coached before. Why this appointment? This nepotism and favoritism will cost us dearly.
