  Africa has to wait 2026??? We need to boycott them and do our own thing on our continent. We need to start seeing ourselves as HUMANS!!!! And stop allowing ourselves to be taken advantage of, by any Tom, Dick and Harry........

  No referee made Asamoah Gyan miss that penalty - they might have won it all. First improve the quality of football. Everyone knows the African cup of nations is barely watchable and hardly entertaining.

  Africa others have to win the cup once to deserve more participants. FIFA is being already over generous with these huge numbers for Africa and the other WC also runs!

  I am an Africa fan but realistically, the 9 slots are more than enough. In fact, there is a chance for a 10th if a team messes up. I think the 48 team expansion is bad for the World Cup. The only benefit is that now there is less pressure when it comes to African qualifying. Now, Ghana is likely to make it a majority of the time. On the other hand, the WC will never be hosted in Africa again.
