It's about time we stopped spoiling these players with money. I understand they need money since it's their profession but for national duties, it's a prestige so please SPOIL THEM NOT.

Cut their bonuses, expect no trophy, simple.
I said the same thing when the Black Stars' were slashed before Gabon 2017.
How do you kill morale and say "Bring me the trophy"?
It won't work.

The article says the previous Starlets were paid $3,000 as winning bonus so it is wrong to say the current Starlets team winning bonus is $1,000 per player when it is "slashed by 30%." To slash means reduce so if the previous teams got $3000 and it is "slashed by 30%" then 30% of $3,000 (0.3 x 3,000) is $900. So $3,000 -$900 is $2,100. Therefore, it is wrong to say it is "slashed by 30%." That's mathematically wrong. The correct slash is by 67%. That is too huge. At least, they should have paid them $1,500 per game and that would have been "slashed" by 50%. The current 67% decline is propestrous.

This is the level that journalism has been reduced to in Ghana. And we expectour students to write something meaningful in their examinations, if they have been reading these write ups.
