She has already left. I don't think Ghana can nurture her to reach her full potential. The sports ministry does not have that level of commitment, they will not spend the needed resources on her.

Ghana, like many African nations, abounds in talents and natural resources but has no clue about developing our natural endowments. Other nations saw our gold, diamond, bauxite, manganese, timber, oil, etc, and took away huge chunks in broad daylight with our tacit approval and connivance. Now that our natural resources are almost depleted they have turned their eyes somewhere else, our talented human resources. Unknown to many of us they began poaching our talented human resources many years ago. They spot talent and they give them scholarships to study in their countries and top it with the gift of citizenship. This is how great nations like the USA, England, Germany, etc, have been built and developed.
But first of all they took us forcibly from our homes and sent our people to the Americas as slaves. With our labor we built their cities and their industries and now they're the superpowers of the world. When slavery was outlawed they found a more civilized way of enticing talents from other nations including Ghana to build their industries, economy, sports and various fields of human endeavor.
Why can't we copy them and replicate their success? We will not succeed in forcibly bringing American, European and Asian nationals here to Ghana to build our nation like they did to us but we can also device a strategy to entice their talents here that will be of a mutual benefit to both parties. Over to the politicians, educators and various intellectual brains in the nation. We're on the verge of losing a talented athlete in the person of Martha Bissah to a more competitive bidder. Ghana, wake up from slumber.
