This piece was well thought-out in providing evidence supporting Nyantakyi. However, as with all leaders, once you start stagnating, you must make way for fresh minds to take charge. This benefits everyone: it benefits you the leader because you will be remembered for the good things you did rather than failures that stemmed from stagnation (you'll also be seen as a selfless person who has the best interest in mind, rather than having stubborn, greedy, selfish interests). It benefits the people because it keeps them in support of the administration and what they stand for. Lastly, it benefits others who are hungry to step up and take a crack to improve the cause.
So, yes, Nyantakyi did a lot of good stuff for Ghana football when he came into power, however, its time for him to step down as he has plateaued and is not causing any more growth.

Good piece. I dont think this man's achievements in his early years can be unrecognized. I give him kudos for that. He led us to heights we had hitherto not reached. Congrats, Mr President. But my case against him is what has been happening in the past few years. There is a certain wisdom why presidents in a democracy rule for maximum eight years. The general people of ghana have lost the trust and faith they once had in mr . President. Some of them , through his faults and some not his. He is not an eloquent communicator and the statements he made after the 2014 world cup especially at the commission made a whole lot of people think he is corrupt. This coupled with the video whch he clearly was discussing a side deal that surfaced just at the beginning of the 2014 world cup did not help him. Since these incidents, it has been downward motion for our football. I agree we must be careful to replace him with a competent person. The truth is, it is time for a fresh face to bring some freshness and restore some love in the game. The people he serves say they have had enough.i believe everything around this current GFA is like old and tasteless right now. We just want to be happy with our football and i do not see this ever going to happen under the current GFA admin. He should go gently and we can sing his praises for the new grounds he helped to break during his early years in office. The opposition is the fans who will cheer and encourage him and it us not looking good now or in the near future for him . He is a young man who can contribute much. Lets give him a chance in another area, so pride and love can be restored back to the game.it is not as if He is currently eading with a vision that is compelling and enviable for us to say, keep going , we see the light at the end. No, it is all gloom looking to a dark end. Lets cut it out and be more sensible. The GFA does not belong to one person and as soon as he looks like he has to fight to hold on, it is a sign the end is near.
