As part of the activities to meet the tight walking calendar for 2004, the VISCO WALKING CLUB wishes to inform all its members, to report at its academy at Cape Coast on Saturday January 31 at 4 pm.
Those expected to report include Ahmed Tijani Sanni of Ghana Armed Forces Navy, Vincent Asumang and Francis Halm of Ghana National Fire Service, Benjamin Annan, Ekow Rambo, Joseph Bello, Robert Anim and Stanley Braimah all of the Central Region.
Others are Atta Bright of the Ashanti Region, Moses Shelly, Thomas Quaicoe , Joseph Arthur of the Westurn Region. Eugene Snyper, John Segbe, Musah Muda, Alex Agyakwa, Abraham Kumi, Kofi Ali, Ebenezer Kyereboah and Jeandi Koufie are also to report.
All those whose names were not mentioned are also expected to report too. According to the executives of the club, failure to report on time will result in disciplinary action being taken against them.
The invitation is to enable the club select walkers after a series of training competitions, to represent Ghana at the World Walking Cup in Naumberg, Germany on May 1 and 2 , 2004 as well as the August 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Also to report are Messres. Kofi Safo-Antwi, Sela Segbefia, Peter Amoah, Ms. Mary Brew James Khofi Tuah and coach Albert Nukpezah, all executives of the club.
