On a more serious note,I expect Stephen Appiah to be worried about the Black Stars incapacity to defend freekicks efficiently. The Stars are also unable to score on freekicks oppotunities. These are some of the technical problems Killing the Black Stars including penalty shootout.
I don't have any problem with the Stars sharing pleasantries with their opponents after the match. Ofcourse,we are not expecting bronze medals from Black Stars, not even a silver medals. All what we want now is the the Gold Medals and the trophy.A second place or a third place doesn't matter any more.Don't worry be happy.

Akwasi Nyantakyi and his mafie in the GFA have to be changed other than that the Ghanaian Football will not never succeed in win any trophy. There is too much corruption going on in there. That's why why they cann't deal with players like Surely Montari, Kevin Prince Boateng, Adam Kwaresey etc., because they will tell them their mind and will not pay any money to them.Has Ghanaians ever ask Akwasi Nyantakyi what he does with the moneys he recieves from FIFA for Ghana Football Association every year? Has he ever accounted for the hudge sums he has been recieving? I think is time for all Ghanaians to go on protest against him and his cohorts. How can a goal keeper like Adam Kwarasey sitting on the benchsomeone playing in the first league and has won many title with his teams will not be fix but a bench warmer like Razak Ibrahim in a second division team play and he sits on the bench this can happen only in Ghana. The whole World are laughing at us because they cann't understand what is going on in our GFA. Country Man Zongo have been saying it all the time in his programms but it seems we are not taking him for serious. My appeal is let all Ghanaians stand up and protest against a change in the GFA management if we want our football to take it's course.Ghana needs a change in GFA. We have some local coaheswho are much better than the white it's only the GFA who are not giving the chance, because they don't want to pay our coahes huge amounts like the whites. They are discriminating our own people. It's time to dissolve this management.

As DD pointed out we have never won anything even when these guys were playing yet they criticize these youngsters as if it is automatic Ghana wins the AFCON. The exchange of pleasantries exchanged by some players on both sides is the best. The Ayew brothers have known that Burkinabe player when they were growing up in Marseille. Surely, they couldn't just turn and walk away from him without a few words being shared warmly. We should not fill our hearts with too much hatred just because we are under-achieving. We will smile one day after the tournament.

I think former player like Stephen Appiah, John Mensah, Sammy Kuffour to mention but few must look at themselves in the mirror for the lack of success in Ghana national team. Their Co-equals like Ryan Gigs, man city Coach and other hang their boot but are still making significant impact on the game by coaching. These stars of Ghana were exposed to some of the best coaches in the world and to the highest level of the game yet they do not want to acquire the necessary licenses to be able to coach at the national level. We are always going outside to hire coaches when we have such great former players. They are content with comenting on the performance of the team than to have their imprint on the national teams by coaching. Ghana will struggle to have qualified local coaches until we figure a way to get our former Ghanian European players to start coming coaches in Europe after their careers are over then the players will respect them to coach and Ghana could be successful in football. Wake up and smell the coffee and stop blaming others

Sportsmanship is important. The Burkinabes are not the enemies of either the Black Stars or the Ghanaian people. They are our brothers, damn it! Many of these players on both sides play or have played for the same International football teams. There are all kinds of bonds between these guys. African football fans celebrate the achievements of all African footballers. There is nobility in conceding defeat in a civil and friendly manner. Shame on the "bush" attitudes of Appiah and Kingston!
