They were bad when it comes to playing the game itself. Here is a team that don't battle for the ball and allowed the Black Stars a lot of time on the ball. The problem is that we played poorly, which isn't surprising anymore based on the fact that our players are average. I saw Andre and Atsu shoot the ball with defenders beaten to the goalkeeper and I wonder the kind of football professionals they are. Where is the basics that a shot should be on target and away from the goalkeeper? Folks, we are getting nonsense football from our players you know. And what the hell is Grant, such a high profile coach, doing?

For us we are learning to mingle at tournament level after four decades hiatus and I have seen stranger performances from favourite teams at big tourneys to wit Spain in last world cup and Senegal in Afcon.

Harrison afful is rusty and need a quick replacement (Jonathan Mensah) else we shall be punished through him. Dede ayew is ok but must improve shooting. Wakaso must avoid unnecessary aggression and save himself a card.
Our coaches are too dull for me. They can't read the game else they would have seen our problems especially complacency and communicated to players to fix it in the second half

How often has the Black Stars also been "spirited" and yet lost matches becos of perhaps a simple mistake. The game is "action" and "reaction" , not "had they have had more time....." of course if there had been more time, the result could have been different, the Black Stars could also have added more goals, but the time was limited and the Black Stars were able to defend their lead to the end and win. Anything after that is "after table talks" ! Stephen Appiah has been out of active footballing for sometime now, how is contributing to the development of football in the country, except displaying his fleet of cars and followers whenever he is invited to functions! If both ream had scored their good chances in the game, Ghana would have scored more than the Cranes, so lets stop this overly criticizing behavior and encourage our players to improve in subsequent games. People also blame Jordan too much, but not many have seen that Afful has been giving away balls in dangerous positions! He actually commited a needless penalty against Egypt recently! However lets all throw our weight behind the team. They are what we have.
