Jordan's dip in form is calculated, in order to force his way out of Villa. If Jordan was playing well, Villa will never sell him. Jordan is not interested in playing in the championship. Remember several teams in France and England wanted to buy him during pre-season but Villa refused, especially the new owner and Jordan has not forgotten what he went through with Lorient when Villa came knocking. His situation right now makes it easy for him to move on. It's different when a player is coming back from an injury layoff then you can make a case for his dip in form but not in this case. Jordan was Villa's best last season in the EPL so you will think that his confidence will be soaring in the championship with great performances. Folks, this is not Jordan Ayew. He started the season well, but realizing that Villa will not earn promotion he now deployed plan B. He wants to play in the top leagues. Look at Diego Costa and Hazard at Chelsea. Compare their performance last season to season. They did that for a reason... didn't want to play for the coach. When a player is interested in playing, you will get the best out of him. Thank you.

It is pure fiction to say that Jordan is deliberately underperforming because he wants to be out of Aston Villa. It will be complete stupidity for him to think about doing such a thing much more carrying it out. This reasoning may make sense to only people who are emotional, inane and unanalytical. Who is Jordan? Is he Messi? Here is a striker who played 36 games and scored only 7 goals, which contributed to Aston Villa's relegation. Was that nonperformance also calculated? Jordan is an athlete but simply not a good footballer. His talent is minimal so he needs to put in extra hard work, as Gyan did, but that hasn't happened because he's not serious. References to Diego Costa and Hazard are all part of this conspiracy theory to explain Jordan Ayew's failure and not worth discussing.
