  The GFA is running away from its responsibilities and the press is letting it get away with this. FIFA gives GFA an annual grant. Nigeria gets 1M every year for football development and I am sure the GFA gets something similar. Yet GFA cannot pay for plane tickets for football players, pay the bonus allowance for players. In the meantime, GFA claims it is an independent body but yet depends on the government for mundane expenses. Salaries are not being paid, children don't have chairs and desks, there is dumsor and we are feeding this football craze while GFA is expected to be independent. What do they do with the FIFA grant? Government builds stadiums and maintains them not GFA. What does GFA do with FIFA money. The Ghana league is boring, referees are beaten some of the time and nothing is done. GFA President runs a team in the same league he oversees and nobody finds anything wrong with it. Board of GFA are all officials in teams in the league. How can discipline be effective. Conflict of interest galore. Question is Do we need GFA? President-Elect over to you

  This practice of nonpayment of bonuses to national teams is getting out of hand now. The practice has been going on for decades and and getting bad. Why can't the GFA or which ever body responsible for this this just do their damn duties of paying players. These players have no pensions to count on but their pay. Every participating country gets monies from these tournaments so why can't officials just pay up these players. The reason is clear, manipulate and cheat. That's bad. Pay the players!
