Board member of Liberty Professionals, George Afriyie, has warned clubs not to deal with their striker, Latif Blessing, who still has two years left on his contract.

The 2015/16 Golden Boot winner is reportedly AWOL and has not reported for the club’s pre-season training after being heavily linked with a move away.

According to Afriyie, any club which deals with the player directly would be doing that at its own risk as he has an outstanding two years on his contract with Liberty.

In an interview with Kessben FM, George said: “We still have two years’ contract with him and, I have no idea about his whereabouts after his failure to report to training.

“We don’t owe the player any outstanding salaries or bonuses, so I will entreat clubs interested in his services to be very careful and not get into trouble.”

Last week, Blessing turned down a $700,000 move to Tunisian giant, CS Sfaxien, and is reported to be in Kumasi, fueling speculations of a possible transfer to Kotoko.
