As much as l do not support Grant's persistent use of Brimah and Kwaresey is also a below par Keeper, l do not think that Ghana played a better football under Akwasi Appiah than Grant. I recall vividly how useless a team we were when we played in the Afcon held in South Africa that Nigeria won. If Grant can look for a reliable Goal Keeper other than Brimah and Kwarasey. If we can look for a replacement for Asamoah Gyan, Ghana will do better under Grant compared to Akwasi Appiah.

Oh OK. So goalkeeping and striker are our only problems? If you don't have a goal keeper and a striker it means you don't have a team. Nana, you are just a football and don't know much about high level football. Many of us Ghanaians consider ourselves as world cup team and therefore evaluate our performance accordingly. So the question is by what standard do we think our defense and midfield, besides our atrocious goalkeeping and striking, measure up? I will say an F, complete failure. Just look carefully and tell me if we have any playmakers. Also, where are our defenders who can read and stop clever opponents? There aren't any. I just laugh at seeing the players giving aimless passes among themselves and running around like chicken with severed heads. Majority of this Black Stars are average and its why they are on benches. Also, this lazy dull coach and fucked up GFA aren't working to find and nurture real talent.

In retrospect we now can say that Appiah did a good job in 2013 with a team that was not the best. Remember, Dede and his brother boycoted the team. In addition, that was a period where Muntari had issues, Essien had issues, KPB claimed he had retired from international football, etc...He made due with what we had. We won our group then beat a Cape Verde team that was much better than most people thought and then lost to a Burkina Faso team that was at their peak.

Stop causing confusion and be honest with yourselves. Not long ago Ghanaians showered praises on Avram Grant for reaching the AFCON tournament. The govt is rather to blame for bringing chaos and mistrust within our football and Black Stars. It all started in WC-2014 in Brazil, when NDC govt played politics with bonuses for the players. The problem is that some of our key players have lost the desire and the urge to die for the country. NDC govt has succeeded in causing disaffection for our team. Many Ghanaians can't see through the ploy by the sports ministry to create confusion. The Black Stars squad should be revamped; some of the players are not qualified to be in the team. Some are living in their past glories. Without good motivation and quality player even Coach Morinho, Fabio Capello or Pep Guardiola can't make the Black Stars shine. Ghana had never qualified to the World Cup tournament until Kuffour's govt turned things around in 2004-2006 by taking care of the Black Stars. It looks like Ghanaians have soon forgotten about those glorious year and how a new spirit was breathed into the team. We missed out winning the AFCON hosted in Ghana mainly due to a bogus French Coach but the GFA boss and his team made amends by hiring better coaches. Avram Grant may not be the best coach but he is certainly doing well. It's up to the GFA to give him the needed support for him to succeed. The team can pull a surprise by winning the rest of the games. Another draw and a loss will be the end. To qualify for WC-2018 in Russia quality players with vision and skills should be invited to the Black Stars. Brazil dropped many players when they flopped in the recent WC they hosted. Stop the unnecessary criticisms and inform the NDC govt and the GFA to do the right thing.

I suggest we either use Olele in the qualifies (Egypt used a 43yr old keeper who played against us with Olele in goal at Angola 2010 finals) & invite that 16yr old keeper (forgotten his name, but I saw him play when I visited Ghana this July - he's still in secondary school) in the Ghana premier league and the Kotoko goal keeper very young as well (I think he's called Mensah, played in goal against Hasaacas in Sekondi) to understudy Olele. These two young boys have talent and if we invite them at this young age and give them the big bonuses the black stars get including the international exposure, they will be the best in Africa in the next 5 years and can play in the next world cup. Cameroon did that for carlos Kameni and he's still a top goalie in Spain. Also let use our strikers who play in the Egyptian league for the return leg here in Ghana and play the Tap maze be boys away against Congo. Ghana can still qualify if we win all our 4 matches by 2 goal margin or more and beat Egypt in Kumasi by 3 goals to nothing. Egypt should be taken to Kumasi as a psychological effect on their 6-2 loss. Once again, God bless our homeland Ghana and God bless us all.

Massa, I don't think there are quality players to replace what we currently have. Brazil has a warehouse of quality players such that the likes of Firminho, Willian etc find themselves on the bench. Our players, both active and inactive ones are all below par players who do not see enough game times. We should think twice about the loss to the seven time African champions. We cannot win all the time and that soccer, even with the best of materials, just as we witnessed during the Abedi-Yeboah, Appiah-Essien era. Ghana soccer will dwindle for a long time to come until we are able to find players that naturally have a bond both on and off the field as in the case Essien, Appiah, Gyan, Laryea, Derek, Mutari. The truth hurts.

SAM JOHNSON SHOULD HELP THE GFA FIND A COACH WHO IS AN ANGEL TO HANLDE THE TEAM. IF KWASI APPIAH WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH THEN NO GHANAIN COACH WOULD BE GOOD ENOUGH. LET US BRING AN ANGEL SO THAT WE WOULD FIND NO FAULTS, AND THEN THE STARS CN WIN ALL THE TIME. SAM JOHNSON FAILED TO MENTYION THE FACT THAT OUR TEAM LACKS GOAL SCORERS, THE FACT THAT WE HAVE ALWAYS DEPENDED ON ASAMOAH DJAN FOR GOALS, WHCIH MUST BE ADDRESSED SERIOUSLY. SCK GRANT AND WE SHALL SEE WHO THE NEXT VICTIM SHALL BE, AND SEE IF OUR TEAM SHALL BE UNBEATABLE. LOOK AT NIGERIA'S GREEN EAGLE OF TODAY, IVORY COAST, ALGERIA, ZAMBIA, THESE COUNTRIES ARE NOT CHANGING THEIR COACHES AT WILL AND SO THEY ARE DOING SO WELL. TOO-KNOWING, HATRED, BACK-BITING, JEALOUSY AND IGNORANCE SHALL CONTINUE TO DESTROY US.

These illiterate ex-footballers claim to know it all. Who awards points for friendly matches? Who expected Ghana to win against Rwanda amidst the quarrel between GFA and the Sports Minister with players having to buy their own tickets? How could we beat South Africa in their own country with a demoralized team? The only match we list genuinely was the one against Egypt, a match we dominated though we lost unfortunately. Don't compare Grant to a novice like Kwasi Apoiah.
