Let's cut to the chase. The GAA wants to take credit for Martha's win at the Youth Olympics ie they did all the right things to make sure she was 'seasoned' they used their influence etc to get her there etc....
And then the GAA wants to show who's boss by getting Martha to apologise and kiss their backside.
Marthat refuses to apologise so they ban her.
Then the GAA keeps putting pressure on her till she's vulnerable and confused.
Now the GAA is saying come back and ask for help and we'll help you.
Why is the GAA doing this? because the GOC and GAA President is one and the same person and they are under criticism for why they did not make sure Martha Bissah went to the Olympics.
In other words if we are to believe that it was the GAA that made sure Martha got her shot at the Youth Olympics etc, then why did they not use their influence to make sure she went to the Olympics. There are others who went representing Ghana in other disciplines who had not qualified through the proper channels and were given wild cards or just picked randomly. Here is someone who really should have got the opportunity but ego got in the way. Poor poor judgement and decision making?

How could she qualify if you banned her and then wouldn't let her participate in the qualification process. And before that completely disturbed and undermined her. You tie her up in knots, and then you say well you didn't perform?? My point is that a real and credible talent was totally mishandled and mismanaged. That was the crime of the situation. They sabotaged her because ego blinded them beyond fair treatment. Too bad. It might be along time before the opportunity comes along. And what's funny is that in this article, they actually want to be praised! Strange.
