Avram Grant needs to have the guts to tell Jordan that he is going to be an off the bench wing option when Ghana has a lead. I think there is pressure to start Jordan. He is a good player but he is not a striker. I see him as a winger who can put some crosses in the box and score once in awhile. Once you put him in a forward position, you will be disappointed.

he knows he cant get a spot on bstar squad as a striker as long as gyan ans tetteh are available. jordan should stick to the number 9 spot and impress. he was a striker in france and was also a striker last season for vila. he can use his height n goal scoring instincts to evade defenders n score goals. playing as a winger as an option to get a bstar spot wont help his career. in my opinin, adomah and assifuah are better right wngers that jordan. adomah ahs proven that with boro and asifuah has and continues to do that with sion. bstars need more strikers not wingers jordan . so man the fuck up and prove all ur doubters wrong....

I confirmed my suspicions. He is a winger who can give you a few good passes but he cannot score.

I sometimes wonder why Ghanaians criticise jordan Ayew but leaves Christian Atsu alone. Among the two who has proven to be a better player? Dont forget elvis Manu came from Holland a good player but struggled to get game tome. I have always know Jordan to start slow and come out big. Is it because his father is a Legend? Or is it because he is so good we want him to be better? And actually always played out of position because of his many qualities. Can we appreciate this boy and encourage him than to discourage him? Has anyone ever though of playing Jordan behind two strikers as a pure number 10?
Food for thought. I am disappointed in Grant however for not helping this talented chaps. Because he condone bench warmers.

U MEAN PLAYIG JORDAN BEHIND 2 STRIKERS LIKE A PURE NUMBER 8? JORDAN IS TOO SELFISH A PLAYER TO PLAY 8. HE WOULD RATHER SCORE THAN DISTRIBUTE PASSES. PLUS, HE HAS BEEN TRIED AS AN 8 IN MANY BSTAR GAMES N HE COMES UP SHORT. I W ... read full comment

PLUS, HE HAS BEEN TRIED AS AN 8 IN MANY BSTAR GAMES N HE COMES UP SHORT. I WOULD PLAY HIM AS A 9 N LET HIS USE HIS FEET N HEIGHT N SELFISHNESS TO SCORE GOALS. HE IS NOT A GOOD SPRINTER TO PLAY AS A WINGER ANS HE LACKS THE FOOT SKILLS A WELL. JORDAN HAS BEN WAY BETTER THAN ATSU. ATSU IS EVEN WORSE . SOON, HE WILL EVEN PLAY DEFENDER....JUST TO STAY IN ENGLAND.

I concur with you Marshall. Ghanaians have forgotten so soon how Asamoah Gyan used to give us heart attack when he was at Jordan's age. But look at Asamoah today, we need him to be fit for us in every major tournament. Why can't we exercise patience with Jordan Ayew as well? If people are criticizing him because of him being the son of the maestro. Which Ghanaian player has distinguished himself on the field since Abedi Ayew Pele? None, not even Dede Ayew. Dede is trying his best but if you watched Abedi at Senegal 92, you will agree with me. Soon Jordan will set the record straight, so let's encourage him rather than discourage him. Let me use this opportunity to wish Dede Ayew a speedy recovery.
