It's amazing how objective people can think alike. I used to think I was the only one who had this opinion of Daara.
It would appear that the corruption virus has found another mark in Daara and his not too bright mind has become even more addled now. What's worse is the blatant display of impunity even in the irrefutable face of misdemeanor and the shameless attempt to entrench corruption as the new right and the continuous effort to co-opt us all into that philosophy. Believe me KK, even Nebuchadnezzer is no more and this disgraceful behaviour will meet its end soon.
Such a shame.

Wishing to come to power on its so-called 'anti-graft' credentials, will openly endorse a patently corrupt cabal like the GFA! But blame the current Mahama administration for tolerating this situation, and for allowing these daylight brigands to continue to act with total impunity!
Imagine the spokesperson for such a group, Saani Dara, exhibiting such gross impudence, by calling for the removal of a Minister of State from office, because of his refusal to permit the open raid on our national treasury! Win or loose, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, the current Minister of Youth and Sports, has shown the necessary resolve to tame these "looters" of State assets; and has exposed the duplicity of those who want power at-any-cost!

National sovereignty has not been ceased to FIFA or, by extension, to their cronies at GFA. It is not coincidental that Blatter and his top brass at FIFA all under indictment.
A system whereby the Ghana government hands over money to GFA but has no control over what the money is used for, makes no sense and represents a loophole of draining tax payers' money that needs to be sealed.
USA is also a FIFA member like Ghana but their FA is as accountable as any institution. So why not Ghana? Why are GFA members "gods"?

Funny that to give this man credibility he is described as a 'former BBC journalist'. The point is the Minister has done a good job in highlighting a problem. That is his job. The Ghana Football federation wants government support and they don't want anyone to hold them accountable. But you can't do that forever. And it's time that ALL the federations realised that. The fact that there is no sponsorship proves that what the Minister said was obvious and truthful. If it were attractive there would be sponsorship right? And the fact is that no corporation wants to get involved in badly run anything. These people are business people, they don't invest their money in poorly run businesses and the GFA is a poorly run business. The mismanagement of all the federations is the problem in attracting sponsorship and the Government only has so much money to give when there are major projects that have to be invested in for the good of ALL Ghanaians. So a Minister who cares about sports is at least a good start. I hope that the Ministry will sort out all the federations and create the right environment for sports to thrive in Ghana and for the youth to get involved. Once you see a silver lining, sponsors will flow.

I used to respect saanie diara. Now he is getting worse each day with his comments. A toddler even know that the league is very poor. Not competitive at all. The limit test for a good league is when clubs go to Africa and do well. Is simple as that. Africa champions league for instance, clubs can't reach even group stage let alone semis. God save Ghana football from this wicked people.

If ever there is anybody other than the Minister to be removed, it is your boss the kleptomaniac, the habitual liar, the 'sikadicious monger',the thieving arrogant who detest Ghanaians for the mere mentioning of his thieving ways of public funds that was exposed in 2014 in the epistle of Dzemefa chapters.
If anybody should be removed, it is your boss, alias Osman Don Fodio of the Mecca series who even though claimed to be a Muslim, does not have the Koran in his study.
If there is the need to remove anybody from the Ministry, it should be your so called boss who has consistently flouted the Ministry's orders and have aspired to do things his own way, and do not want to subdue, and or account for any government directives but expect the government to 'pump' monies into a channel that leads to his pockets.
If there was anybody to be sacked, it is your boss who of late, thinks he is indispensable and would expect the government to fund his federation but could not be asked to be accountable to anybody but FIFA.etc etc.
Even though Kwasi Nyatankyi keeps on lying all about the place,,i.e. events, sponsorship deals, coaching contract deals, budgeting ,procurement, emoluments, salaries,per-Diem, coefficient, indemnity, capacity building, ways and means, bribery, ex-Gratia,laundry, feeding,
illegal boost for pro-serial callers,Black stars call-ups,do me I do you, nonsense talk, arrogance, conflict issues on team ownership in the GPL, referee's bribery issue placed at his door step, the unattractive league and all that jazz, what've you?
Even, the five year old in the sporting world knows now, that KN is the root cause why our football is at it's lowest ebb.
In spite of all these qualified interrogatories above, which directly is heaped at the very same person,(KN), the medley of inconsistencies and contradictions
since tenure of office, points to several conclusions.
Put differently, either he has forgotten or the correlating his administrative acumen as a well trained lawyer, OOPS!,I mean, his loss of owning an administrative common sense in formulating and implementing rules about government/administration/football progression, i.e. the attractiveness at this juncture, is zero.
However, OOPS! strangely, one would categorize this man as level headed. He does,or is fond of responding to sustained criticisms in the mist of his many opened and alleged corrupt practices, that seeks to change, or in the attempt to changing his known signature policies, albeit the corruption charges leveled against him by one and sundry.
As you and I are aware, the sequence points to KN being unable to, but slowly and erratically learn from his mistakes.
Sanni, let the truth be told, you are being declared a loosing loser. Cuz, you are no man of principles. You are just following your master's voice, whether good or bad.
The massive education you have had all these years have come to zero since you have refused or failed to beta your own conscience, the truth. Beats Me.

Sometimes,it beats my imagination as to why some of us would blatantly refuse to be told the simple truth.Nobody is denying the fact that Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi has not done anything progressive during his tenure but the truth is that his refusal to be held accountable and hiding under FIFA in terms of financial spendings is a continuous worry to one a many.
I believe the minister, knowing this and other issues before assuming office decided to confront the man head-on.This might have been the beginning of the media war and bad blood between the the two gentlemen in sports administration in my opinion.
They say everything rises and falls with Leadership.Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi must accept his shortcomings and build upon his leadership skills.
To conclude with,I personally think the local league has become unattractive and to some extent uncompetitive.Let me however be quick to say that the minister could have resisted the temptation of going public with his opinion even though I am sure he appeared peeved about the adamant nature of the man Kwesi Nyantakyi to heed to advice in private to do 'the right things'.
As for Mr Saani Dara,he has been a dissapointment to say the least ever since he assumed the noble office he occupies.
Facts, they say,are sacred but comments are free. These are my opinions and any limitations, be it factual, grammatical, typographical or otherwise are entirely mine.God bless our homeland Ghana.

Surely you will call for the dismissal of anyone who disrupts the venal workings of your comfort zone.
Perhaps that accounts for your eventual return home, from the rigours and consistent discipline of the BBC which quite clearly was taking a toll, to a dilapidated reputation littered with consistence ineptitude and idle waffle. Frankly, even at BBC, I found your performance amateurish to say the least and I wonder why they let you stay on at all. So I'm not surprised at this turn of events; it didn't need a soothsayer. But while you hardly ever make sense and yet seem to think everybody else a simpleton when you have sought to justify the unjustifiable I can only remind you that THERE WILL COME AN END TO ALL THINGS and yours is not so far off.
