Appiah was the captain and they took it from him and give it to Abedi. There was another issue between Abedi and Tony Yeboah as well. Abedi was a problematic that's why black stars couldn't win anything. They trying to use this Dede to create the same problem in black stars as they used his father.

This should not happen. Ghana had one good team back in the day when Abedi Pele was the captain. There was a very serious feud among a section of the players who were Anthony Yeboah loyalists and another group who were Abedi loyalists. This created a lot of confusion among the entire team. As a matter of fact that actually cost us the 1992 African Cup Final in Senegal when the Black Stars played Ivory Coast in the final. This must stop. It will not send us anywhere. We have not won any trophy as a nation for over 30 years, which is a shame. The players and and their so called fun clubs and sports officials who are involved this must think twice.
