I want to ask ONE QUESTION FROM THESE MEN WHO LOOK LIKE THEY NEVER DID ONE DAY OF SPORT IN THEIR LIFE! If you spend 4 years training, getting up at 5 in the morning doing laps, doing training, eating right, worrying about everything and then at the last minute, as a young girl, you are sidelined with no explanation or accountability for your decision do you think this is right??? THE MINISTER HAS TO DEMAND AN EXPLANATION. THE PRESIDENT NEEDS TO CREATE AN INQUIRY TO LOOK INTO HOW ALL THESE FEDERATIONS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR BLATANT DISREGRD FOR DEMAND FOR ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY. There is no motivation for any young person or the family of a young person to invest all the time, money and energy in preparing for something if at the end of the day some arbitary person is picked. They have to explain their choices. If Ophelia has the times and has had results then she should have been chosen. That's why Ghana doesn't win anything at the Olympics, because the sports Federations take advantage. And to say the President looks for sponsorship and gets stressed, oh diddumms. Get a grip and grow up. Put someone competent in charge. I have no idea about ophelia's times etc but if she went as far as making the accusations, it is evident there must have been utter frustration. NO one listens!
