What do we the ordinary citizens get from them?

BS should ignore the squabbling between GFA and MoS it's an opportunity to make themselves and the nation proud and lots of awards and rewards will be the result. Better sporting deals and adverts just to name a few.

Until Kuffour and his NPP govt came, Ghana had not qualified for the WC because of the kind of hatred and envy by the NDC govt. Kuffour's govt saw the need to give good incentives for our Black Stars to motivate them to die a little for their country. In 2005, Ghana qualified for WC-2006 and excelled at the tournament. NDC always find ways to belittle our gallant men at every tournament and that demoralizes our players. Recent comments by the Sports Minister has caused lots of hatred and disaffection for the Black Stars. From the Coach to players, the ruling govt is using foul language to discourage our team. Black Stars has become an unworthy group to belong to because of govt wierd and unfriendly attitude. NDC govt has mismanaged Ghana's economy so badly that it is difficult to fund our national team. But for the able leadership of GFA boss and his deputies, there will not be any national team at all. Instead of accepting their failures, govt is rather blaming the Black Stars for their own incompetence. The players can choose to ignore national call-ups when the time comes, but they rather served the nation wholeheartedly! Isaac Vorsah, Kwasi Appiah, Michael Essien and Jerry Akaminko have all suffered carriers threatening injuries living them to battle their fate in the football world. Yet Nii Lantey Vanderpuije the "Vampire" refuses to pat our players on the backs for their services to the nation. I made my observations few days ago about the dangers ahead of our preparations and the prospects of missing out when the right motivation, for coach and players are not taken seriously.
