The hanza to your above notion is "BIG NO!" No coach or anyone in Ghana would be ABLE TO DROP Jordan from Black Star as long as Dede service is needed. All that any coach can do is to use him as a midfielder but to DROP HIM? Whoever would think or say that will be hallucinating.

It will take some 2nd-generation-foreign-born strikers to help Ghana in that department (if pure strikers are what we really need) because it is not in our genes and bland any more as a result of growing up playing "small post" and "gutter-to-gutter" soccer. Therefore, everybody in the world knows that we rely on midfield players posing as false forwards -- midfielders who occasionally catch the opposition napping with surprisingly powerful shots from players like Sulley, K. Asamoah, Essien, etc.

Even, your best striker Asamoah china Gyan is a false forward who rely on his "baby-jet" speed to score a lot of goals.

Milo recognized the Ghana bland and relied on the fantastic Ghana midfield players with his "one-goal project," which nearly shock the world.

So, Rasheed, if you want a pure Ghanaian strikers, look for them in the diaspora.

You seem to be right about the fact that we haven't had a real striker for a long time. Not so fast my brother. Not for 40 years. Why? Because we've had a stiker called Tony Yeboah. He was super just that Ghana football wasn't where it is now. Tony and Abedi paved the way for these current players, many of whom are fake. Striking is not the only problem the current has. Lack of creativity is another problem. These players kick and run all day. They are the smallest players but try to outrun bigger and stronger opponents. I just don't get what the coaches are doing at all.

In a way, Monitor is right about one thing in that Ghana's strength is the midfield. But, I agree with you that Tony Yeboah was a pure striker, so was Agogo.

Unless you are lazy and afraid of becoming great. Or you're secretly afraid you will fail. You will not fail, put on your big boy pants and play big boy soccer and stop saying that second tier stuff as if you are so loyal to Aston when you know very well that the underlying reason is fear. Fear of going to another club and not having the same level of success. What you don't know is that the fear you feel is actually a good thing, and it is normal with every new venture, embrace it and embrace your greastness.
