Mr Ibrahim Tanko, you have spoken well concerning increment of pay to the local players to stop them from migrating to play for overseas teams. There are two fold reasons why most of them opt to play especially for European teams.1,those teams have enough resources to pay higher contract fees in foreign currency than various local teams could pay them in Ghana, even higher than the highest salary GFA pays some of its executive officers. 2,Some of these players have fantastic notions that, when a player joins any team in Europe or America, he becomes,as they call it,A been To.and thus making him a VIP.It needs a pschologist to meet and desuade them from what has been engrained in their conscience to think of their country first before yeilding to any pesuation of travelling abroad.
