    The man was a legend. You never wanted to leave the radio, even to go pee, when he is on commentary. My favourite part was "Inside the center circle, across the center circle, around the center circle".

    Mr. Joe Lartey and his dear wife Mom Emily inspired me as early as 1964 through 1969 at the Achimota Anglican Primary School. Blessings to you Uncle Joe and Mom Emily.

    Kwabena Agyepong, Kwaku Fosu Asare, and other professionals were football comentators as well. I wouldn't let my child follow your example. You aren't my kind of role model.

    The Golden days of football commentary . Still remember Joe Lartey or uncle Thompson saying " let's go to the " CASTLE BRIDGE " when it's time to relay the scores from other stadium . Uncle Joe you rock.

    Where is Harry Thompson? Can some body tell me his where about after his last commentary comparing Rawlings 1979 to his latter days looking huge as compared to 1979 when he was very skinny. Has he been put in the cooler?
