  Nii Lante is the king of kulluulu and a real akpatse. He has nothing to offer. He's the one the will not let people that has lived in Accra especially for years even before he was born not to register to vote just because he knew he will not will the odododiodoo seat. And people like him is made a minister? Please!! he was just put there for votes and that's it and Ghanaians are so stupid to vote again for such and uncouth individual. No wonder Ghana is going backwards

But I say dust is being thrown into their eyes and that prove how "most" Gas don't have any commonsense. They vote for a piece of clothe and a bag rice and 5 gh cedis SUA!!!

  Our sports sector is in a really difficult mess. If this Okraku guy comes in with deep concerns such as we all have and he thinks that Nii Lante Vanderpuiye will be the solution, then clearly, he himself must equally be a kindergarten pupil.
  
  We all know that in his earlier existence as a journalist, Nii Lante Vanderpuiye was involved with sports reportage in some way. But does that qualify him to be the solution to the beleaguered sports sector?
  
  Nii Lante was not a particularly outstanding sports journalist. That much we know. We also know Nii Lante to be a promoter of rampant political violence and whose persistent misconduct did not appear to be informed by any degree whatsoever, of good reasoning, common-sense nor for the best interest of the people of Ghana.
  
  Nii Lante has been in parliament for a number of years representing the people of Accra central (Odododiodoo Constituency) and as is universally evident, the sorrowful conditions prevailing in that area of Accra has only gotten from bad to worse during his tenure as MP.
  
  Nii Lante has by his own wiles, created for himself, a public image which is unpalatable to the extent that no serious person will engage him to undertake any serious endeavor.
  
  So Mr Okraku perhaps there is something which I and others on this platform do not know about this Nii Lante Vanderpuiye which makes you think that he is competent enough to handle the sports Ministry.
  
  I cannot believe that where more sober personalities have failed, this person who is prone to resort to violence as a means to resolve public issues would be a better bet.
  
  When considering public issues it is better to make considerations based on the greater public interest rather than for greedy and narrow-minded selfish interests.
