  Next time you are going to blame the boots worn by your players or their jerseys.
  If the players are not good enough, they are not good, so stop shifting the blame on the football.

  Soccer ball to an untrained eyes might all look the same but depending on who makes the and materials used, they might have different weights, how they spin and other things and if you are not used to a particular blind of a ball, it will definitely affect your game.

  Oh Mr coach! Poor workman blames his tools. English premier league uses Nike footballs. MLS have their own kind of football.

  I think Duncan is speaking the truth. The movement in metre balls n addidas football are very different. The speed, weight and acceleration vary from each other.

  As a professional football player it is your ability to maneuver with any sanctioned soccer ball the officials presents. We used to play with amai (rubber) ball where the wind can easily take the ball to another direction but we were able to control the ball. That's what has made players like the Abede, Polo, Razak and some of our current Black Stars. You have to adjust your game to any pitch like astro turf, synthetic or carpet. So professionalism in soccer depends on the players and the technical team.

I quite remember Roberto Carlos of Brazil made the same comments about the ball they used in Italia '90 that the was made in China and lacks the quality a football have to be and he talked about the size. After that FIFA came out to say they have reduced the size and it was true

  There's nothing wrong with that mitre soccer ball,try to accept defeat and correct your mistakes than putting blame on mitre ball,wonders shall never be.
