Donsah's story is the story of many Ghanaians in the cocoa growing villages. cocoa is the backbone of the economy but they are not rewarded for their hard work. The agents steal a lot of their produce by adjusting the scales and the gov pays next to nothing for their produce. Revenue raised from the sale of cocoa go to benefit only a few in the cities and the villages left in darkness without schools, clinics, hospitals, roads, electricity etc.
