I want to use this medium to congratulate Mr Kwasi Nyantakyi for being the first head of GFA to introduce a laudable programme like this to fen for retired footballers which has been overdue. This is infact an honour to appreciate what the past footballers have so far done as a contribution towards the countrys socio economic develpmemt, but it is sad to note that the unfurtunate situation bedeveled the past players was the couse of lack of ideas by the subsequent leaders who headed the GFA.May God bless Ghana Football Associstion and bless Mr Kwasi Nyantakyi too to concieve more of such ideas for the uplifting this beautiful game.

Beautiful talks without chemical substance. They did play for Ghana for fame. Therefore if he is serious the GFA
can start with an AMOUNT to cater for them.

This is long overdue. However this is a good idea and perhaps the GFA need to to rein in the League clubs and invite all Ghanaian Professional footballers to contribute towards this benevolent endowment plans. Please perhaps the board of directors should not be finance by this fund. The board may be compensated once they have raised specific amount of money.(5 Percent of the amount of money raised) Perhaps the GFA should organise a yearly football competition with the proceeds being invested into This Retired & Injured Footballers Benevolent Fund.
