Muntari, the player in question is simply put, a psycho. This may not appear to be obvious to his many fans but mark my word, if given the chance, he will do his worse. He reacts recklessly on sudden impulses which is symptomatic of a schizophrenic. Muntari has never learned from the many instances that he has been punished for behaving in this same manner and he is not remorseful about his strange behaviour neither is he indispensable.
No player in the current Black Stars team - including Asamoah Gyan himself has reached that super star-quality level where he can be considered as being indispensable.
Any possible indisciplined player in the Black Stars team today who has managed to reach that level without being filtered out at the lower levels for acts of gross indiscipline, should better know that they are simply lucky to be in the team and they had better comport themselves with the required sense of discipline and ethics.
Those who are clamoring for the return of the psycho are very likely people who did not have the privilege of being brought up in disciplined homes and therefore do not know how far discipline can take a person or for that matter a team of sportsmen. In the same vein, they also do not know how much damage the lack of discipline can do to a person or a team of sportsmen.
Any crafty and sneaky overtures through weak personalities like Asamoah Gyan and others by the psycho to get himself back into the Black Stars team should be discouraged with the firmness that it deserves. A word to the wise is 'in the North'.
