This is the way forward for Nyantekyi and co. Develop the local league well. Strengthen the teams by providing them good training facilities and a well-organized league and soon Ghana will be putting players on the world stage and the money as we have seen flowing into Kotoko coffers will boast the local teams and the Ghana economy as a whole. No need to be paying bonuses to the Black Star players who have already made it into European and leagues where they can earn their bread safely. Let’s support the local players who are yet to make it into big time. For a lot of these local players their mums have sold waakye, kenkey and banku saaa to help their labs. The GFA can only help by resources the local teams to produce worthy players for the Stars in the future and not have to rely on a chosen few. Please Nyantekyi!!!
Training grounds with good facilities for high performance. A good gym, medical support. The school of physio in tech. The medical schools can provide services for these teams at no or very little cost (suing students who need the experience too. There is so much we can do with very little effort if well organised. The natural resources, the passion for the game and the drive to do well are all in place. We just need well-meaning officials to streamline a good platform.
