Look at the list of previous winners and no one from English speaking Africa. They always give it to a French speaking person. It doesn't matter that Dede was born and brought up in France. He represents an English speaking country and they won't give it to him. Most of the people who will vote are from French speaking countries, anyway.

Let them prove me wrong and give it to Dede and I am willing to swallow my words.
