  The performance of the Comorans represents a big wake up call for the Black Stars to up the ante if we are to make it to Russia. It was clear the Comorans had much information on Ghana and did their homework well. On the other hand, Ghana appeared to lack ideas on how to break them down especially in the final third. It is important we vary our game plan and formations to continue to outwit opponents if we want to win matches. If we are struggling to beat Comoros it makes me shudder what will happen in the group stages when the competition heats up, that is if we manage to get pass the Indian Ocean islanders. It may sound like a cliche, but there are no minnows in international football now, especially in Africa . Many teams previously not known for their football prowess are now catching up fast. Ghana was not the only country to learn this the hard way yesterday. Senegal had to fight back from 2 goals down to draw with Magadascar. And the Super Eagles had to content with another hard fought 0-0 draw with Swaziland. Grant wake up your boys to deliver from Tuesday onwards. We know your team can do better.

  Every game must be taken very seriously. On an additional note, I think Assifuah needs to get a start here. If you want Jordan in the game he should be a right wing. Jordan simply cannot be a forward. He is a good player but he is not someone who is going to score for us.

He has matured massively as a striker and a team player scoring and assisting goals for FC Scion. I would like Grant to give him a chance one way or another on Tuesday, especially if Gyan is still yet to gain full fitness. I believe he can deliver.
