I wonder why so much time was spent by these writers on what Jon Benjamin said in the past and NOT what he is saying about the GFA today. The man is speaking his opinion, something some of us have said several times on Ghanaweb and elsewhere. Ghana has earned millions of dollars from her participation in the past 3 World Cup tournaments. Paying promised bonuses to players became a problem - problems for which we had to set up a presidential commission, the cost of which was more than the amount involved in the scandal. Ghana spent $20,000 on taxi to do grocery and $8,000 to repair an Ipad. There is not even a $1,000 Ipad on the market yet. The NDC government paid Ibrahim Mahama $1.5 million for transporting $3 million to Brazil. Question is, why are our youth still playing in gravels. Why have we not developed our soccer facilities in the town and villages to unearth talents. And note, some of the parks in the villages could cost less than the cost of breakfast for these GFA officials on "official" trips. The cost of flying party activists to foreign countries as supporters could build several stadiums (my choice) around the country. Somebody has to say this. I don't care whether it is pointed out by the British High Commissioner or the shoe-shine boy on the street. The 12-year old boy or girl who comes back home with multiple wounds on the body can not say it.

Jon Benjamin is a loose cannon masquerading as a diplomat.

The earlier he is withdrawn by the Foreign Office, the better it will be for him and everyone else.

Our teams don't even qualify for the group stage in African cup, people stopped going to the stadia, even people are not aware there is Ghana league in Ghana. As for DSTV they stopped showing Ghana league. Talk about stupidity, we have become ridiculous under these two thieves. Leave the High Commissioner alone and continue swimming in your stupidity and foolishness.
