Kotoko is the only major team in Ghana that is associated with a tribe. You never hear of Sekondi Fante Eleven Wise or Tamale Dagbani United. NPP is just a group of Asante-Akyem tribalist and supremacists who occasionally call themselves Akans when they want to enlist support from Fantes but the Fantes don’t give a shit about the Akan bullshit. They will reject their own son if they have a good reason.

Know your history.

When the Matemeho (segregationists UP/NPP) found out that Nkrumah’s CPP was going to win the election and become president, they sent a delegation to England to tell them that the Gold Coast was not ready for independence but the English told them that independence will be granted because the bond was signed in 1844 at Mankessin.

Again, they sent a second delegation to England led by Abrefa Busia who later became president. This time their request was for the English to divide Ghana into 3 countries with 3 different independence dates - Asante-Akyem as one country, coastal areas (Fantes, Gas and Ewes) as a second country, and the Northern Territory as a third.

Again, the English refused so their third option was to assassinate Nkrumah.

They started throwing dynamites in a compound house in Accra where Nkrumah was renting a room, killing and innocent women and children. When they failed to hit Nkrumah, they then planted dynamites in any park where Nkrumah was to hold a rally. The dynamites were stolen from the gold mines. Several innocent lives were lost but Mkrumah prevailed.

Still, the Asante-Akyem tribalists did not give up. At Kulungugu, they secretly planted dynamites in bouquet of flowers that a little schoolgirl was to present to Nkrumah but the timing was inaccurate. The bouquet exploded in the girl’s hands just a few steps before she reached Nkrumah. The girl is now a grown and deformed woman living in Accra. The Asante-Akyem tribalists ignored and discarded the poor woman like a used toilet paper. Recently Kwesi Nduom has been supporting the woman.

When Nana lost to Mills, he wanted NPP supporters to take to the streets and cause mayhem. Several businesses closed early and people took cover. It was the very people who Nana counted on for support, Asantehene being one of them, who told him Ghana, America and friendly countries around the globe were not ready for such backward nonsense.

When Nana says ‘Yen Akanfo’ and 'all die be die' it means killing and using evil means to achieve his goal is in his blood.

If you supported Kotoko, why didn't you visit the Ashanti King before embarking on your tour of the region? All of these childish political strategies will not land you anywhere but a complete failure in the 2016 elections.
