  The players said they would advise themselves; no one said they will be dropped from the squad. I rather thought that they would refuse to report for camp when called. Personally, I thought they did not behave well. The All Africa Games is different from tournaments where the Queens play to emerge champions. In the All Africa Games, victory counts for one goal medal. If someone wins an event in, say, Athletics, that person also wins a gold medal. I hear the Tennis doubles team also won gold; did anyone hear of them agitating for so much money. At the beginning of the tournament, a decision is taken as to how much a participant will get for winning gold. If someone should get $2000 for winning gold in 100 metres dash, what is the justification to pay each member of the Black Queens $5000 for winning one gold medal?
