The state of affairs in Ghana leaves a lot to be desired. The whole system is fraught with incompetence, mismanagement and corruption. People placed in positions of authority are treated as demi-gods and therefore feel they do not have to be accountable to the people they serve. How many times will this scenario be repeated until heads begin to roll. GFA refuses to pay bonuses to players, players rebel and the president intervenes. I guess Ghanaians see nothing wrong with that, because that is the way issues are resolved in the country.

They could easily departed for their respective places of residence.The hotel expenses incurred by housing the players while in Accra could have been better spent else where. Not only will the GFA pay for the hotel expenses, now they will have to foot the bill for the extra days the players spent in the hotel. What a waste of funds!
